Scholarships for Exchange Students from non-European Partner Universities
For the academic year 2010/2011 we are able to offer scholarships for our exchange students from our non-European partners. The scholarships are for 600 Euro for one semester or for 1200 Euros for the academic year. Application deadline for the summer semester is 15 October 2010. Grants for Exchange Students from Western European Partner Universities
For the coming semester we are able to offer grants towards German language courses for our exchange students from our Western European partners. For more information, please contact Adelheid Korpp.

Staff Exchange
Professor Dr. Yoav Wachsman from our partner university Coastal Carolina has joined us for the seond half of the semester and offers two seminars:
- Macroeconomics: Globalization and the Global Financial Crisis
- Environmental Economics: Global Issues and Agreements

Meeting the Chancellor
RheinAhrcampus student Sidi Boubcar OULD ESTAGHVIROU from Mauretania (to the left of the Chancellor) was chosen by the DAAD as one of 20 international students to meet the Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin, to celebrate the students' achievements as well as their contribution to international cooperation and understanding.
On 5 May we celebrated our International Day with an International Fair introducing our partner universities to all RheinAhrCampus students. We were able to welcome international guests from our partner institutions, such as Kaunas University of Technology, WIiE Olsztyn, the University of Malaga and the Riihimaki University of Applied Sciences. The exchange students provided information about their home universities to encourage RheinAhrCampus students to spend an exchange semester in their countries.
