Borrowed Identity

Workshop description

BORROWED IDENTITY – what life would have been like if...you were born on Achill Island

We need YOU in our workshop „borrowed identity“
(max. 4 persons from different nationalities)

In this workshop you will:
- think about your own identity
- get in touch with a real family on Achill Island
- experience, what life is like on Achill Island
- ...and what your life would be like if you were born there
- develop a documentation video

We need you, because you:
- are highly motivated
- are active and flexible
- think about intercultural issues
- are interested in new media
- like role-plays
- are funny and want to have fun
Then you shouldn’t waste more time and contact us directly!

In our intercultural workshop there will be different roles. There will be:
- a family member of a typical family on Achill
- 2 friends visiting person Nr. 1 and his or her family
- a student cameraman for filming the scenario

We also offer:
- the possibility to think about your own and other identities
- a real cup of tea with an Irish family in their daily life
- media competence: how to make a documentation movie or how to be a movie star
- a lot of fun!
